As of January 27, 2024, the purchase prices for Korean live abalone from abalone farm (Latin name: Haliotis Discus Hannai = Ezo abalone in Japan) are as follows:

• 5-6 pcs per kilo: KR₩ 55,000 (= US$ 41.7)
• 8 pcs per kilo: KR₩ 38,000 (= US$ 28.8)
• 10 pcs per kilo: KR₩ 34,000 (= US$ 25.8)
• 15 pcs per kilo: KR₩ 26,000 (= US$ 19.7)
• 20 pcs per kilo: KR₩ 24,000 (= US$ 18.2)
