As of Feb 15th, 2024, the purchase prices for Korean live abalone (without packing) from abalone farm (Latin name: Haliotis Discus Hannai = Ezo abalone in Japan) are as follows:

- 5-6 pcs per kilo: KR₩ 50,000 (= US$ 37.8)
- 9-10 pcs per kilo: KR₩ 30,000 (= US$ 22.7)
