- The shortage of king crab persists. Only 15 tons of red king crab have been imported from Russia, with an estimated 10 tons expected to arrive in Korea this week.
- As of today, there is no confirmed schedule for incoming Russian king crab boats for next week.
- Consequently, the shortages of blue or red king crab will continue, with more specific pricing, quality and supply quantities expected to be determined shortly. The likelihood of hardly any exportable king crab from Korea after this week is increasing.
- However, the supply of large-sized live opilio snow crab and brown king crab is expected to remain stable, as seen in previous years around this time.
