Current live king crab / Snow crab situation in S.Korea

Due to the current absence of Russian crab fishing vessels, our stock is limited. The recent batch of crabs received at the bonded warehouse is currently undergoing quarantine inspection, causing a temporary halt in customs clearance.
Although two vessels are expected to arrive on the 25th, both shipments consist solely of snow crabs. Consequently, crab prices are soaring due to limited supply. Even the Bairdi tanner snow crab, classified as the lowest grade among crab species, commands a notably high price now. King crabs are, unfortunately, entirely unavailable.
Given these circumstances, most of crab sellers may consider temporary closures once their existing crab inventory is depleted.
